Waterlogged 3

So this whole “smaller comics more often” thing is way cooler than i had thought. The extra amount of work I was able to do on each panel allows me to bring them to a far superior state of completion. Also I like them all better. I hope you all do as well.

So this is actually something of a double post. This weekend I was cleaning out my desk, and I discovered (among other things) a short story that I wrote when I was fifteen. It was kind of bad, but I cleaned it up a bit and edited it a lot, and I’ve published it over on DA, so you can find it here. It has nothing to do with GNGL or comics, but I thought you all might like it anyway.

More frequently, you say? Even better, I say.

Mor properly, the drawing I mentioned semi-inspired by your birds:

The handwritten text gives the comic a whole other feel. This page felt very different, almost…personal? No, more raw. It was a neat change, and a good example of how even the little things chage the tone of a comic page. The different way you drew blackbird was also very cool. I am impressed!
